Another Kind. ch1

          Lizzie sat on her sister's bed. Charlotte was in the bathroom taking a shower. They shared a bedroom since birth, like most twins. Lizzie, 5 minutes younger than her identical big sister, was shy and quite sensitive. But Charlotte on the other hand was much more stronger than Lizzie, more tougher, more mature. Obviously, Lizzie had her own bed, but since they moved in 3 months ago, she slept on it maybe twice. She usually slept with Charlotte, she didn't mind, they both enjoyed it. Charlotte came in and looked over at her twin. They were both ready for bed. Lizzie in sweatpants and a t-shirt, Charlotte in shorts and a tank. Charlotte smiled and closed the door behind her. Lizzie smiled back sweetly and winked.
     ''Lay down.'' said Charlotte turning towards the light switch. Lizzie did as she was told and Charlotte flicked the lights off. She walked slowly up to the bed, trying not to trip over anything in the darkness of the room. She hit her leg on the side of the bed and grouned, Lizzie laughed quietly and took her hand. Charlotte relaxed and let her sister pull her down. She fell onto the bed and giggled. Lizzie cuddled up in her sisters arms and smiled.
     ''Night Charlie.'' she whispered closing her eyes
     ''Night.'' Charlotte replied and kissed her sister on the head softly. They fell asleep after a little while, their bodies attached to each other, like 15 years ago, before they were born.

          Eric knocked on the door to his sister's room.
     ''Clare?!'' he shouted through the door. He didn't want to walk in. He knew Clare's girlfriend was sleeping over last night.
     ''Yeah?!'' Clare shouted back in a sleepy voice.
     ''Can I come in?'' he asked.
     ''Yeah ok.'' she reliped, he opened the door and peaked his head in. Clare was laying on the floor with Rachell. Rachell's arm was lazily rested around her lover and Clare's head lay on Rachell's shoulder. Eric smiled at them. He knew about his sister being lesbien. He was gay himself. But their parents had no clue. They would probably kick them out the house.
     ''Had fun last night?'' he asked, teasingly.
     ''Yeah.'' Clare grinned rubbing Rachell's arm softly. Rachell moaned sweetly in her sleep.
     ''Want some breakfast?'' asked Eric
     ''Yeah thanks. Are mom and dad home?'' said Clare,
     ''Nah. They went shopping. Don't worry.'' he replied smiling, then he walked out to prepare breakfast. He was planning to go out himself in a little while. Eric shut the door behind him and left the two girls alone for a bit. Clare shook Rachell's body lightly, she moaned again, this time louder.
     ''Sweetie wake up.'' Clare whispered. Rachell smiled and opened her eyes slowly. She looked down at Clare and grinned, Clare grinned back and kissed her girl on the lips. She kissed her back lightly, without the intention of getting deep. Clare pulled away gently and got up. She took Rachell's hand and they walked out the room. They strolled downstairs and into the kitchen. Eric was there, putting toast on two plates.
     ''Hey Eric.'' greeted him Rachell sitting at the table,
     ''Morning Rachell.'' he replied smiling. He always liked her. In a friend way. Rachell and Clare got on with their breakfast and Eric left the room. He walked upstairs and took his phone. He dailed Jake's number and pressed call. Then waited paitently.
     ''Hello?'' Jake's voice,
     ''Hey Jake.'' he said,
     ''Oh Hey Eric. What time do you wonna meet up?'' Jake asked,
     ''In 15 minutes on my bus stop?'' suggested Eric hopefully.
     ''Ok!'' he replied enthusiasticly.
     ''Alright, see you then.'' said Eric and hung up. He put his phone in his pocket and sat on his bed.

          Jake saw Eric on the bus stop. He felt a burst of excitment. He didn't see him for two weeks! He thought about him a lot and decided to tell him. He didn't know how to do it though. He strolled towards him, Eric saw him and smiled, waving. Jake waved back and watched Eric as he approached slowly. Jake was stood still, smiling as he came closer, hugging him gently. Jake hugged him back and then pulled away slowly. They started strolling towards the park side by side. Jake looked at Eric from time to time. They talked breifly. When they got to the park they sat on a bench under a tree. Jake looked around and then back at Eric. His eyes were filled with fear. Fear of rejection from his new friend.
     ''Eric, I gotta tell you something.'' he swollowed and took a deep breath, ''But don't get freaked out ok?'' he continued, Eric nodded and leaned an inch closer to Jake. A load of questions swirled around in Eric's head.
     ''Go on.'' he said encouragingly. Jake swollowed again,
     ''I'm gay.'' he whispered. Eric's eyes wided but a pleased smile appeared on his face. He took Jake's hand slowly and gently. Jake was confused, he didn't know about Eric's sexuality.
     ''Don't worry. I'm gay as well.'' said Eric trying to calm his friend down. Jake's mouth fell open an his eyes wided. Since Jake only just moved in, Eric was one of his only friends, and now he tells him he's gay?! Jake started to smile, without even knowing it. His eyes still shocked but the smile was wide.

          Charlotte and Lizzie finaly woke up. Charlotte dressed herself and Lizzie went to get a shower. When Lizzie was out they walked downstairs and found their parents in the kitchen.
     ''Morning girls.'' said their dad,
     ''Hey dad.'' they said in unusion. They sat at the table and got on with their breakfast that their mom layed out for them.
     ''Where's Jake?'' asked Lizzie in between bites,
     ''He went to see Eric.'' said their mom calmly. Charlotte looked at Lizzie and smiled, Lizzie smiled back knowing what her sister had in mind. Their brother told them he's gay about 2 years ago. They were freaked out at first but then kind of accepted it. He was usually friends with girls. Their parents thought he's a 'ladies' man', which was obviously not true. But he did have guy friends as well, like Eric now, but the twins knew something is going to be happening between them, even though they didn't know if Eric was straight, he didn't have the typical 'gay guy' kind of look, but to think about, neither did their brother. Their parents walked out the kitchen a bit later.
     ''Wonna go to the mall?'' asked Lizzie hopefully. She wanted to get out somewhere before school starts. It was sunday, the last day of holidays. They couldn't wait to see Aundrei. She was one of their only friends so far since they moved.
     ''Yeah ok.'' replied Charlotte finishing her breakfast. They walked upstairs and got changed.

          Jake strolled home, smiling. He didn't notice he was smiling though. Him and Eric had an amazing day. Jake saw his sisters ahead of him,
     ''Oi!'' he screamed, they turned around and waved. He waved back as they approached him quickly.
     ''Hey Jake!'' said Lizzie,
     ''You've been spending a lot of time with Eric lately, eh?'' teased Charlotte, Jake grinned and looked at his shoes for a couple seconds.
     ''We're friends.'' he said akwardly, he was still smiling.
     ''Yeah right!'' said the twins in unusion making the same little hip flip. Jake looked up and grinned even more.
     ''Yeah well, he told me he's gay today.'' he said quietly, Charlotte and Lizzie looked at each other, then back at their brother and grinned,
     ''Anyways! Gotta go now, see you.'' said Charlotte grabbing her sisters arm and pulling her away. Jake walked home slowly. Ever Since Jake saw Eric for the first time, he wanted to be something more than friends, but untill today he thought that that would NEVER happen. Now he had his chance.

          Eric walked inside the house and closed the door behind him. He saw his mom on the couch sleeping. He could hear his baby brother crying in his room upstairs. He hurried up to the baby's room and saw him in his bed sobbing. He walked up to him and picked him up. He stopped crying and wiped his eyes with his little hands. Caiden wrapped his arms around Eric's neck burring his face in Eric's  shoulder. Eric carried him to his own room and sat on his bed putting the baby on his lap gently.
